Greetings!

I am Jacob Betgeorge, an ambitious academic and aspiring author and poet. I am enrolled at California State University, Sacramento pursing a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a Minor in Italian. Stick around for a bit! Grab a drink or something sweet to eat, and read some of my work here.

About me

I've always had a passion for storytelling and the written word. From fantastic prose to dramatic poetry, there is no literary medium beyond my reach. Outside of my expected hobbies of reading and writing, I also enjoy playing the piano, collecting vinyl records and Legos, and painting with acrylics (see artwork below). Above all other interests and titles, however, I consider myself a poet first. That is to say I am often hungry, going broke, or sometimes subject to sudden bouts of inspiration to give the world a new perspective on the human experience.
